The compromise text adopted at the end of July by the Joint Committee on the draft Energy-Climate Act was definitively adopted by the National Assembly yesterday.
The next step will take place on 26 September in the Senate, which will be asked to vote on the same text. If adopted, the law could therefore be promulgated before 10 October, in the absence of a referral to the Constitutional Council.
The text adopted by the National Assembly provides in particular for the possibility of increasing the volume of ARENH sold to 150 TWh from 2020, without necessarily increasing its price.
