Result of the fifth 2020 capacity auction
The fifth capacity auction organised by EPEX for the year 2020 took place on Thursday 17 October. The price of the capacity reached €17,780/MW compared to €20,001/MW at the previous auction on 12 September, bringing the average auction price to €20,033/MW for the year 2020.
As a reminder, the average price of the capacity auctions is €17,365/MW for 2019.
The next auction will take place on December 5.
