The Commission de Régulation de l’Energie published the volume of ARENH requested by alternative suppliers for the year 2022.
This volume amounts to 160.33 TWh, the legislative ceiling being set at 100 TWh.
Consequently, the capping rate, defined as the volume of ARENH not obtained due to an overrun of the ceiling, is 37.6%. CRE will be able to re-evaluate the capping rate at the beginning of 2022 if certain players are unable to take delivery of the ARENH volumes allocated on 1 January 2022.
For 2021, the volume of ARENH requested was 146.2 TWh. The capping rate was thus set at 31.6%.
